The Department of the Treasury informs that from July 23rd 2015 on a new numismatic coin issued by the Mint will have legal tender status. The 5 euro silver proof coin from the series “Villas and historical gardens” is dedicated to the fascinating Boboli Gardens. The sketches, selected by a technical-artistic Commission at the Ministry of Economy and Finances can be seen on the website of the Treasury and of Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (Mint).
