The Department of the Treasury informs that from April 20th on four new series of numismatic coins produced by IPZS will have legal tender status.

5.00 euro silver coin dedicated to the Centenary of the Avezzano earthquake. Finish: S.U.;
10.00 euro silver coin from the series Europa Star Program for the "70 years of peace in Europe";
20.00 euro gold coin dedicated to Neoclassicism from the series Flora and Fauna in art;
50.00 euro gold coin dedicated to the theme "From Rococò to Macchiaioli", from the series Flora and Fauna in art.

The sketches, selected by a technical-artistic Commission at the Ministry of Economy and Finances can be seen on the website of the Treasury and of Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (Mint). The next 2015 issues of the numismatic coins will be based on the sketches mentioned above.
