On February 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM, a live streaming webinar titled Primary Dealer Systems: Models and Experiences Across Countries will be held. The event is organized by PDM Network, a collaboration between the Italian Treasury, the World Bank, and the OECD, aimed at sharing knowledge and information on public debt management.

The objective of the webinar is to discuss key aspects related to the establishment of a well-functioning Primary Dealer System through three case studies: Brazil, Colombia, and Italy. The panel members will engage in discussions about the characteristics of different models, main challenges, recent changes, and dynamics in Primary Dealer Systems in both advanced and developing economies.

Moderated by Zsolt Bango, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, World Bank, the event will feature speakers such as Giovana Leivas Craveiro, Head of the Local Trading Desk, National Treasury, ,Brazil, Luis Alexander Lopez Ruiz, Deputy Director of Domestic Financing, Ministry of Finance, Colombia, and Fabrizio Tesseri, Head of Medium-Long Term Funding, Ministry of Economy and Finance of Italy.
