The first Medium-term Fiscal-Structural Plan is on-line, the document required by the new European governance reform rules. These require economic and budgetary planning to be defined through the development of a medium-term, five-year Budgetary Structural Plan (BSP). Fulfilment of the commitments undertaken in the Budgetary Structural Plan is monitored through a Progress Report on an annual basis.

The Document, prepared by the Economic and Financial Analysis and Research Directorate of the Department of the Treasury, was finally approved by the Council of Ministers on 27 September 2024, after an initial step on 17 September 2024.

In the dedicated section of the Department's website , the Mid-term Budgetary Structural Plan can be consulted and downloaded.

The planning documents, in the current guise, will be subject to reform. They remain available in the Publications section.
